What DeskMetrik does

The desk height calculator uses separate sitting and standing elbow measurements to suggest keyboard-key starting heights. With a compatible keyboard offset, it also calculates a desk-top starting height. Purchase planning lets you explore proposed settings and compare the height specifications of furniture you are considering.

These are starting points and conditional calculations. They cannot establish complete ergonomic fit, diagnose discomfort or guarantee pain prevention. The guides cover the additional questions: chair support, equipment space, dimensions and screen placement.

How we use evidence

Occupational guidance explains positioning. Manufacturer specifications describe named products. Your measurements describe your setup. We keep these sources separate and explain the assumptions behind each calculation in the methodology.
