Privacy and Calculator Data
Calculator data and ordinary website requests are different. The calculator keeps its state in browser memory; the host still processes requests for pages and static assets.
Calculator inputs and results
Calculations run client-side after the static page loads. The calculator does not intentionally transmit its inputs or results, save them to local or session storage, place them in cookies or include them in URLs. Display preferences are not persisted either.
You can enter elbow and reference-seat measurements, proposed seat settings, furniture plans, a keyboard offset and optional desk/chair specifications, candidate names and source notes. These values remain in browser memory. Printing or saving a summary uses your browser’s print dialog only when you request it.
Hosting requests
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. The hosting provider receives ordinary request metadata, which can include IP addresses and request logs, when pages and assets are requested. Browser-memory calculation does not mean that the host never receives your IP.
Read Cloudflare’s privacy policyfor information about its processing of website requests. Calculator measurements are not included in those requests.
Host-specific log retention and operator information must be confirmed before this draft is approved for launch.
Contact and outbound links
If you choose to send email through a future configured contact address, your email provider and the recipient process that message. That is separate from calculator operation. External source links take you to services with their own policies.
Current integrations
No analytics, replay, advertising or affiliate functionality is enabled. If those integrations are introduced, this policy must be updated before activation. There is no calculator persistence by default.
